Banc-Waterstop is a specialized range of high-grade PVC extrusions designed to prevent water ingress or egress in cast-in-situ concrete joints. These profiles function as a continuous, watertight diaphragm embedded across the joint, utilizing a multi-ribbed design to create an impenetrable mechanical bond with the surrounding concrete.
Design Characteristics
- Internal & External Placement — Available in "Centrally Placed" versions for high-pressure internal applications and "External/Surface" versions for base slabs.
- Expansion Joint Profiles — Features a hollow center bulb to accommodate lateral, transverse, and shear movements without compromising the seal.
- Construction Joint Profiles — Flat-web designs optimized for non-moving joints to ensure a localized water barrier.
- Ribbed Anchoring — Multiple ribs provide an extended seepage path, significantly increasing the resistance to water bypass.
